Channels are where you can send messages and share content such as files and images with your team. Each channel has a name, and a description can be added.

To create a channel, simply navigate to any of the existing folders (categories), such as 'Internal', and click on the plus button and follow the prompts.

To create a folder, navigate to any existing folder and click on the three dots, which will have an option to create a folder, from which you can then follow the prompts.

You can pin a channel by clicking on the three dots for a channel, then selecting the corresponding option. The channel will then be placed in Pinned Channels towards the top.

You can also manage the channel settings, including channel permissions, customise the channel, and mute the channel via options in this menu.

You can create individual topics within one channel, and to do this, simply click on the plus botton on a specific channel (such as General1) and follow the prompts. Each topic is effectively a sub-channel of the channel.

A channel and its topics don't share the same conversation, i.e. the channel itself will contain its own messages and so will each of the topics.

The message box at the bottom of the interface allows for text messaging, file sharing, polls, to-do lists, and time scheduling. You can send messages in any channel or topic.
