How to share documents from your Dropbox

Sharing documents from Dropbox requires first signing into your Dropbox account and connecting Dropbox to the KYZON Space meeting. This process is simple and can be done without leaving the meeting.

Connecting Dropbox

Show documents

Simply select the 'Show documents' button in the bottom right corner of your Space meeting to open up the documents pane.

Sign in to connect Dropbox

  1. Select the 'Connect' button next to Dropbox to open the sign in pop up. If you don't see a pop up, please enable pop ups for your browser.

  2. Fill in your Dropbox account details and allow the KYZON Space permissions to complete the sign in and connect Dropbox.

After signing in, use the '>' or double clicking Dropbox to see your files and folders. The Dropbox file selector will open as a pop up.

When you have found the document you want to share with everyone in the space, share by clicking the 'Choose' button.

  1. After selecting the document you want to share with everyone in your space, click the 'Choose' button to share.

  2. Select the 'Share now' to share the document for editing with everyone in your space.

Editing documents after sharing from Dropbox

Documents shared from Dropbox will open in our custom KYZON Office editors. Currently only Word, Excel and PowerPoint type documents are supported for editing.

All changes and progress made on these documents will be saved to the document on Dropbox automatically.


Creating documents from Dropbox

You can create new documents to share, that are then automatically saved to your Dropbox.

Simply select the 'New file +' button in the Cloud files section of the Documents. You can then choose whether to create a Word, Excel or PowerPoint document to share.
